meet Mark Lewanski

Mark Lewanski is an artist, engineer, and inventor working in woven glass — a medium he has made entirely his own since he began working with it in 2000. Over the course of his career he has created hundreds of unique glass surfaces, establishing himself as a leading voice in the field.

His work moves fluidly across contexts — residential and commercial, modern and traditional, bold spectral color and quiet, restrained tone. Each piece is handcrafted and built to last: the glass colors are permanent, fade-resistant, and impervious to moisture.

Lewanski works from his studio in Portland, Michigan, with an additional studio in Lansing and a home gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona.
