“My work explores the tension between strength and sensitivity — between the raw power of nature and the refinement of human form. I work primarily with steel, wood, and concrete, creating pieces that feel both grounded and alive.”
Each sculpture begins intuitively. I don’t sketch or plan; I move directly into material, letting form emerge through rhythm, resistance, and flow. There’s an honesty in that process — a conversation between the elements and my own hands.
Steel, in particular, has always drawn me in. It carries history — the energy of the world it’s lived in. When I use salvaged steel or old wood, that story comes through; it’s already full of life before I begin shaping it.
Ultimately, my work is about balance — organic and architectural, minimal and expressive — the meeting point between human intention and natural force. What I hope is that each piece holds both presence and quiet: a stillness you can feel when you stand before it.
